Center for Materials Crystallography
Professor Bo Brummerstedt Iversen from the Department of Chemistry and the Interdisciplinary Nanoscience Center, iNANO, is the Director of the new Centre for Material Crystallography (CMC). CMC will gain access to the world’s largest and most expensive radiation research facilities in the USA and Japan – direct partners in the center.
The basic research funds provide an opportunity for more than 20 extra researchers and make it possible to attract top international researchers and periods with visiting professors. The goal of CMC is to create an international leading center for fundamental materials research, where strong competences within synthesis, characterisation and theoretic modelling are combined to a unique platform that can handle some of the great challenges in materials science.
